The Blooming Fields Sustainable Living Fair August 7th and 8th Come out to The Blooming Fields for our Sustainable Living Fair ! We will have a demonstrations of straw bale building, photovoltaic's (electricity from the sun), solar cooking .   There will be fair trade products, ecological cleaning products, and ecological crafts.       There will be someone to teach you about geo-thermal heating, and much much more ! Come out on August 7th and 8th and learn how to live more gently on this good earth. The Blooming Fields is a unique nursery and garden center in rural Alberta, located between Olds and Didsbury. It is a beautiful and serene place with a gorgeous view of the Rocky Mountains.

The name "garden center" is not sufficient to describe the place. It is way more than that.We are also a plant nursery, a tea & lunch room and gift shop. We do wedding flowers and other floral design, we have a u-pick for fruit, flowers and vegetables and offer courses in the winter.

Customers come for the peaceful atmosphere , the friendly staff and enjoy an experience that is way beyond any garden center.

You can find us, between Olds and Didsbury, on Bergen Road, 3 miles west of the #2A. Follow the signs.

Our operating hours are Thursday thru Saturday 10:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m, and Friday and saturday night from 6.30-10.00.
