The Blooming Fields Garden Center

The Blooming Field has an attractive garden center. Most plants in the gardencenter aregrown in our own nursery, but we also sell specialty plants from other nurseries. All plants in our garden center, except for annuals, are rated zone 1-4, which means that they will grow in central Alberta.

The Garden Center is open Monday thru Saturday 10:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m.

Annuals.	Plants which will create a colorful focal point in your baskets and flower beds. They will last only one summer, but are sure to bloom all summer long.
Perennials.	These plants will retreat in the soil over the winter, but will reappear every summer, bigger and more beautiful then the year before. In our garden center we sell only perennials which will survive the Alberta climate.
Shrubs.	Plant material for hedges,or for groupings in your garden. Everything from plants with needles, leaves or flowering shrubs
Trees.	All kinds of trees; from evergreens to flowering trees and everything in between.
Fruit trees.	Fruit trees give you double pleasure. In Spring they'll flower and in late summer they'll give you fruit
Pots	This year our focus is beauty and practicality. We've brought in gorgeous fiberglass pots which look like heavy stone urns, but can be lifted up by a toddler. Once they are filled with dirt and plants they won't be blown over.
Garden ornaments and statues.	Check out our lovely displays in the green house and the gift store.
Recycling	To help us tread a little lighter on the planet bring in your old pots and we will reuse them.
