Today I was scratching
among some old leaves from last fall and what should I find
- Rhubarb coming up ! 
But before I could
have a nibble on these nice tender sprouts who should come along
but Pim, and he found my discovery, thanked me very much and
then covered it with plastic. By doing this he creates a small
greenhouse on top of the rhubarb, so it will grow faster. I
heard Mary-Ann and Pim talking about it, they were happy it
was up because the rhubarb plant is important for them, their
most "famous" dessert is rhubarb cake with ice cream
and caramel sauce (which I may add, they never share with me).
Next I wandered by the greenhouse and peeked in, what should
I spy but those salad greens Mary-Ann planted in February were
up !!!
I snuck in and had a good look, mmmmm,
but just as I was
going to sample those succulent little greens - Pim walked in
- foiled again !
